Daily Tour-Duncan House at Polymath Park

Tour the exteriors of all three homes set within Polymath Park and explore their interior spaces.    Before or after your tour of Fallingwater, take a short scenic drive to Duncan House at Polymath Park.  Learn how Wright's Duncan House was saved from demolition and relocated over 600 miles away from Illinois to its new site, including it's piece-by-piece reconstruction by the current owners.  Next, Duncan House's shuttle will transport you to two houses designed by Wright apprentice, Peter Berndtson, houses, where you'll observe the influence of Wright's minimalist principles of architecture on Berndtson, as you visit the Balter and Blum houses.

Frank Lloyd Wright's philosophy of organic architecture - uniting design with nature - formed the basis for over 1,100 designs during his career and extended on to his apprentices.  Peter Berndtson, who studied with Wright at his Taliesin fellowship from 1938 to 1946, carried on those same principles in his houses for two Pennsylvania clients, and set them within an idyllic forest setting in southwest Pennsylvania.

Reservations are strongly suggested to avoid disappointment in availability.
